This handmade iPad 2 sleeve was made using a 100% wool fabric from Pendleton Wool Mills. It is their McKellar Tartan which my quick research has lead me to believe is the McKellar Weathered Tartan to be exact. It is in colors of olive green, grey, black and just a small accent of teal blue. I lined it with a 100% cotton solid fabric in a shade of gray. It closes with a flap that is secured with a sew on velcro. That closing flap has a soft gentle curve and that same curve is repeated on the back pocket.
To give this cover some padding I used a 100% cotton batting. I only used a single layer of a thin batting which will give your iPad some light protection without adding bulk. I, also, reinforce some of the stitching so that you can get plenty of use from the cover.
