I made this iPad 2 sleeve using a 100% wool fabric from Pendleton Wool Mills. It is a beautiful plaid in colors of olive green and bluish gray. It is from their Eco Plaid wool which i believe is their environmentally friendly wool. I lined it with a 100% cotton solid fabric in a shade of gray. It closes with a flap that is secured with a sew on velcro. That closing flap has a soft gentle curve and that same curve is repeated on the back pocket.
To give this cover some light padding I used a 100% cotton batting. I only used a single layer of a thin bating which will give your iPad some light protection without adding bulk. I, also, reinforce some of the stitching so that you can get plenty of use from the cover.
