My jewelry designs are constantly evolving. Right now I have been really into making chain maille jewelry. All those little rings that when woven make such beatiful pieces. I also use sterling silver and 14k gold filled wire to make my jewelry. I try to use natural gemstones as much as possible. I have been known to use Swarovski crystals as well. Many of my designs incorporate my handmade lampwork glass beads. Yes, I make my own glass beads. I, also, love to work with precious metal clay (PMC). PMC is made out of finely ground powder of fine metal (either .999 Fine Silver or 24k Gold), a binder and water. You form it into your design and then fire it in a kiln for 2 hours at 1600 degrees F. When it is done firing you will have a piece that is just the fine metal as the water and binder have been burned away. When I set stones in PMC I use lab created stones as they are the only one able to withstand that high heat of the kiln.
